[Son-announce] New Audio + Flanders Watch

Greetings & Salutations!

Thanks to those of you who responded with condolences over the death of
the old mailing list. I've managed to unearth more sign-up sheets this
week, and am re-populating as best as I can. We shall rebuild it:
better, stronger ...more, uh ...chewy? I can't remember how that goes.

There are a couple of new Audio Downloads on the official site: the
studio version of the title track from "Clarity," and a live performance
of "The Gunner's Dream" from last year's concert at The Depot in Salt
Lake City. Both recordings feature the superlative saxophone skills of
our friend John Flanders, the hardest-working man in show business who
will still take our calls.

Flanders, not content with having his own arse-kicking jazz/funk combo,
composing for television and radio and being a featured player in dozens
of other projects, is going to be blasting out the National Anthem at
the Utah Jazz game on January 29th for a packed house at the Delta
Center (or whatever they're calling it now) as well as millions of
potential viewers, with the game being televised nationally. But no
pressure, or anything.

bye for now,
TB
